We are thrilled to introduce Senior Helpers of Lancaster County to you. Senior Helpers is a nationally recognized professional of in-home senior assistance service. Services offered include Companion Care, Personal Care, and Dementia Specialty care from a few hours a day to 24/7 care. We have the people, resources, systems, and knowledge necessary to make sure our clients get the help they need to enjoy living independently in their homes. Our Caregivers are hired and employed by us, and are thoroughly screened per PA State Licensure guidelines.
Rebekah Terry, Owner and Veteran Coordinator, is utilizing her degree in Accounting to manage the office as well as providing assistance to clients families and caregivers. Rebekah graduated from Central Penn College with an Associates of Science Degree in Accounting. Since graduating from college her work in the healthcare field includes positions at Highmark Blue Shield, Ephrata Community Hospital, and Rothsville Family Practice. She also worked as a Para-educator with Emotional Support Children at Ephrata Area School District. Rebekah grew up in Clinton County, Pennsylvania, but has lived in Lancaster County for the past 15 years. Penny Gockley, Scheduling Manager, has 25 plus years in Office Management, Customer Service & Scheduling. Penny has previously worked at United Zion, Maple Farms and since a child has been involved with Senior Activities as well as taking care of her grandparents. She has lived in Lancaster County all her life. In her free time she loves to spend time with her 2 children, daughter-in-law, and four grandchildren. She loves to go Cruising on vacation. Ausialee Breisch, Client Services Coordinator utilizes her knowledge as a former Senior Helpers caregiver and her previous experience working with the public in the pharmaceutical industry as a certified pharmacy technician. She assists with and develops client services and community relations. Ausialee has lived in Lancaster County since 2009 after moving from Bloomsburg, PA where she grew up. While outside of work she enjoys spending time with her husband, pet rabbit and fish.
Kathy Ebersole, Caregiver Trainer, uses her knowledge to assist caregivers with specific training to meet the needs of each client. Kathy has been in the nursing field for 41 years as a registered nurse and maintains a license with the State of PA. She’s lived in Lancaster County since 1996. She enjoys spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Pat Kauffman, Office & Scheduling Assistant, has worked in the Customer Service and Scheduling field for several years. Pat has lived in Lancaster County all her life. She loves working with seniors and took care of her in-laws so they could age in place. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her son.
Carol Anne Frees, On Call Coordinator, has been with Senior Helpers as a caregiver and the on call caregiver since October 2013. Carol Ann has lived in Lancaster County all her life and enjoys volunteering in the community and spending time with family.
Stephanie Hertzog, Client Services Coordinator utilizes her knowledge as a former Senior Helpers caregiver and her previous experience working with the public in health care at Ephrata Community Hospital. This past experience will help her to provide a better quality of life for our clients and their families. Stephanie was born and raised in Ephrata. Stephanie now lives in Akron with her two children. In Stephanie’s free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends. Stephanie enjoys outdoor activities, sports, teaching youth classes and volunteering in the community.
Chris Boyer, Caregiver Coordinator, has worked as a teacher’s aid, summer camp director and in catering. Chris brings a strong passion for helping others and comes with experience in having cared for her parents during their illnesses. Chris grew up in Lancaster County and currently resides in the Ephrata Area. In her free time she enjoys spending time with family and friends.
