Faye Co-Owns the business and is the Faye Co-Owns the business and is the Director of Operations for Senior Helpers Ann Arbor and Adrian. Having cared for both of her parents thru end of life understands the importance of the services that Senior Helpers provides and is passionate about helping others. Faye manages both offices, assesses clients and works with caregivers. In addition Faye is involved with the Washtenaw County Elder Abuse coalition to raise awareness.
As a Co-Owner and Director of Community Relations for Senior Helpers, Sheila works with other community partners educating them about services for seniors. Sheila enjoys talking with families of prospective clients, helping them find resources and providing quality care. Sheila has worked with the aging population for over 25 years and in addition has cared for elderly family members as well. Sheila sits on the Board of Directors for the Michigan Home Health Association and is Chair of their Private Duty Committee. She has a Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Michigan University in Health Administration.
As the Office Administrator for Senior Helpers Danielle completes various administrative duties that are vital to the function of our business. Danielle’s personal experience includes caring for her Grandmother with Alzheimer’s through end of life and as well as caring for a personal client. Danielle is currently a Junior at Eastern Michigan University working toward a BS in Health Administration.
As the Client Care Coordinator, Louise oversees the scheduling and hiring for our care team. She works as the liaison between our clients and caregivers. She assists with caregiver and community trainings on the Senior Gems program. Her personal experience includes caring for her mother and other family members. Louise started with Senior Helpers as a caregiver and was in this role for 2 years. Recently Louise joined our office staff and spends time helping others help our clients. Louise married her soul mate in 2014 and has a son. She enjoys spending as much quality time with her family as possible. She also enjoys bowling on leagues with her husband. Louise has lived in Ypsilanti all of her life.
Client Care Coordinator for Senior Helpers, Teresa monitors all client and caregiver schedules. She maintains communication with our caregivers to arrange quality services and care for our clients. She also assists with communicating with our clients families, so they can feel confident entrusting the care of their loved ones into our hands. Teresa uses her 18 years of teaching experience to help train and guide caregivers on how to best care for our clients. Teresa has had a love for working with youth, but after caring for an elderly family member found a new love for seniors. Teresa is a Teacher with the Ann Arbor Public Schools and has earned a BS from Eastern Michigan University with a major in Mathematics and a MA from the University of Michigan in Teaching.
Elisabeth is the RN on staff with Senior Helpers. As a Nurse Consultant she regularly instructs caregivers and the internal staff in areas on homecare. She also does in home assessments for long term care insurance companies and addresses any clinical needs our clients may have.
As a graduate of Henry Ford Hospital School of Nursing, Elisabeth has experience as a general duty staff Nurse, in Obstetrics and as an Operating Room Supervisor. Prior to her formal retirement at Promedica Bixby Hospital in Adrian- she was the Hospital Manager on the night shift for 16 years. She, along with many others was involved in the first computer installation at Bixby for the entire hospital. She did training in total quality management for nursing. Elisabeth was licensed as an E.M.T. during her time at Bixby and is certified in C.P.R.
